About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Stittsville Garage Doors website (https://stittsvillegaragedoors.ca) and any service we provide at your property. By using the website or hiring us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the service.

Quotes

Quotes given over the phone or by email are preliminary estimates based on the information you describe. The price is only confirmed once a technician has inspected the door on site. Written on-site quotes are valid for 30 days. There is no charge for a same-day on-site quote in the Stittsville, ON service area.

Scheduling and emergencies

Same-day arrival windows are best-effort. Traffic on Hazeldean Road, weather events, or jobs that turn out to be larger than described can shift our timing. If we are running late we will call. For after-hours emergencies, see our emergency page.

Work performed

Repairs and installations are performed in line with ANSI/DASMA hardware standards and Ontario residential building practice. We will explain what we propose to do before we start. We do not perform work you have not authorized.

Payment

• Payment is due upon completion of the work, unless agreed otherwise in advance.
• We accept e-transfer (preferred), cash, debit, and most major credit cards. New-door installs and larger jobs may require a deposit at the time of ordering parts.
• HST is charged in addition to the quoted labour and parts price, where applicable.

Warranty

We warrant our work as follows:

• Labour: 90 days on any repair we perform; if a part we installed fails because of how it was installed, we return at no charge.
• Parts: manufacturer’s warranty applies — typically 1–5 years on springs, cables, rollers, and opener components; 5–10 years on doors and panels. We will hand over the warranty information sheet for the specific parts installed at your home.
• Warranty does not cover damage from impact, abuse, water intrusion, electrical surges, or modifications made by anyone other than us after the work is complete.

Cancellation

You can cancel or reschedule a visit at any time, free of charge, as long as we have not already driven to your address. If we have arrived on site and you choose not to go ahead with the work, no charge applies for a standard quote visit. Special-order parts that have already been picked up are non-refundable.

Limitations of liability

We carry commercial general liability insurance. Our maximum liability for any single repair is limited to the total amount paid for that repair, except where Ontario or federal law requires otherwise. We are not responsible for indirect damages (e.g. spoiled food in a garage freezer, missed work) caused by a delayed visit or a part failure outside the warranty period.

Website use

• The website is provided “as is” for informational purposes. Prices listed are typical ranges, not binding quotes.
• You may not scrape, copy, or republish the photos, written content, or layout of this site without written permission. Photos of completed jobs are shared with the homeowner’s consent.
• You may not use the quote form to send spam, threats, or unrelated solicitations. We reserve the right to block submissions that abuse the form.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Ottawa, Ontario.
